Pakrway and Haughton had traded victories throughout the ’22-’23 season, and this third game of the year was highly anticipated by fans of both teams.

Haughton’s Abdul Zidan struck first, shooting a goal 6 minutes into the first half. Parkway’s Daniel Lee responded with with a well-placed free kick just a few moments later. Jonathan Gaskins added to their lead with a goal off of a Nolan Dean free kick.

However, the Bucs fought back with a goal from Carter Ebarb, showcasing the talent and determination that helped the team to the best record in program history with a final record of 13-8-1. Zidan and Ebarb were two of the top goal-scorers for the Bucs this season, with 27 and 22 goals respectively, and Jose Montes led the team with 42.

In the end, it was the determination and skill of the Parkway Panthers that helped them secure a much-deserved victory. They will now set their sights on Archbishop Rummel, looking to continue their playoff run and make an even bigger impact in this historic season.
